LSM Lecture Series WS2016/2017

New: LSM Seminar series!

Doctoral students will be given a chance to present their work in a casual, yet professional environment and receive critical and constructive feedback from your peers. After each session the LSM will provide for an evening event with Pizza & Drinks.

Lecture Series WS 2016/17

Time: on Wednesdays at 17:00.CET

Duration: 45 minutes+15 minutes Q&A

Place: at LMU Biocenter, Campus Martinsried, seminar room G00.001

Please note there are exceptions to the rule, for guest speakers, lectures to be held in small lecture halls.

LSM highlighted lecture!

 Information for LSM doctoral students:

By the end of your doctoral studies, you should have attended at least 40 lectures, (each lecture should be at least 1 hour, this includes Q&A). Please note the attendance of at least 15 lectures, from the LSM lecture series, and 15 external lectures offered by other institutes on the CampusMartinsried or at the University are compulsory for LSM students, during their doctoral study. The remaining 10 lectures are of your own choice, either to be filled as LSM lectures or as external ones.

Proof of attendance is required, by signature of the host or speaker, (internal attendance list will be brought in by student council member). Please download the external attendance list here.

It is strongly recommended to attend these lectures during the first semesters of the doctoral study.
