Letter of Recommendation
For applying to the LSM
Two letters of recommendation are mandatory. Of which, one should be provided by your Bachelor or Master supervisor (whichever is the case of your last degree awarded).
Please inform your referees as soon as possible to get their affirmation to write a recommendation on your behalf. This should be done before you add their information to the online application form, as the tool will automatically send them an invitation to submit a letter on your behalf! Therefore, we recommend having their approval beforehand. Once the e-letter has been sent, it is not possible to change your choice of referee!
As soon as you have submitted your application, both you and your referee(s) shall receive a confirmatory email. The submission of a letter of reference, on your behalf, is also indicated in the status box of your application form.
Please be aware that your application can only be processed after we have received the 2 letters of recommendation. The deadline for submission of recommendation letters is December 5th 2022, 12:00 CET. All applications which lack these letters after that deadline has expired will be considered incomplete and will therefore not be processed any further. It is entirely your responsibility to make sure that the referees submit the letters of recommendation to the application portal on time. On our part, recommendations will be held in strict confidence.
Due to data protection laws, we are unable to permanently keep your information stored! All application will have to be deleted from the system regularly!
Deadline for letters of reference is 5th of December 2022, 12:00 noon CET!
